The future supply contract is open for bids until April
The Czech Ministry of Defence has launched a competition for new semi-automatic shotguns.
The competition, published on the EU’s Tenders Electronic Daily on 19 March, has an estimated value of CZK30.29 million (GBP1 million).
Specifically, the competition is calling for semi-automatic shotguns in an ArmaLite Rifle configuration.
Requests to participate in the competition is open until 29 April, with a contract expected to be announced in September. There are no reserved conditions and no subcontracting requirements.
The buyer is the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, and the review organisation is the Office for the Protection of Competition.
Submissions must be made electronically via the Ministry of Defence’s procurement portal, and must be submitted in Czech.
The contract is not part of an EU-funded project and does not include strategic procurement objectives.
