Delivering Technology for the Integrated Force

Delivering Technology for the Integrated Force

Tuesday 23 February 2027 | Time: 09:00 - 17:00 BST

The National Armaments Director Group (NAD Group) is the part of UK Defence responsible for developing, delivering and sustaining the UK’s national arsenal, bringing together expertise in science, technology, procurement, infrastructure and support. Its mission is to maximise our warfighters’ collective ability to operate, deter, fight and win. As the strategic challenges defence faces change, the solutions must continuously evolve too. Subsequently, innovation across defence is critical to ensure the Integrated Force has optimal capabilities and support at its disposal.

Delivering the transformation required to embrace autonomy and develop hybrid fleets will require closer collaboration from every facet of undersea defence. Industry, operators, governments, and research institutions must work together to move emerging technologies from concept to capability. With operators at the centre of challenges and current priorities, this event is focused on how broader collaboration can enable their success.

What this event will cover

  • Understand the NAD Group’s challenges, programmes and sought requirements
  • The different pathways industry can access to enable innovative solutions to be delivered with UK MOD
  • What the NAD Group expects from industry and academia when working with them to deliver cutting-edge technologies into the hands of warfighters
  • How technologies with huge potential translate into effective capabilities for the end-user, integrating these technologies timely and at relevance
  • A better understanding of which technologies are most likely shaping the near future, current challenges and how to retain the technological advantage
