4 years ago, TYRON introduced an alternative to the industry leading VFI - the TYRON SP rubber runflat range.
This year TYRON has launched a lightweight version of the TYRON SP reducing weight by up to a massive 40% making it the lightest single piece runflat. This new runflat has patented reinforced lightweight inserts which allow us to reduce rubber volume without losing structural integrity. Now we can tune the weight carrying capacity of the runflat to the application characteristics required.
One major manufacturer needed a single piece rubber runflat at a weight which was previously unachievable. We successfully completed testing at the lower weight and are now producing their requirements.
Tyron has a range of Rubber Runflats and Beadlocks plus Steel and Alloy wheels with or without CTIS.
