About the company
Needles and Pins Aerospace Ltd is an AS9100- and AS9110-certified specialist manufacturer based in Somerton, Somerset. Since launching in 2018, we’ve built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke textile engineering solutions to the aerospace and defence sectors. We design and manufacture mission-critical covers, acoustic insulation, seat covers, pouches, and protective equipment for both military and civil aircraft.
Our capabilities span soft-trim interiors, ground support equipment, and rotary- and fixed-wing applications—including cockpit furnishings, helicopter blade covers, and deployable storage solutions. From a two-machine start-up, we’ve grown to a skilled team of over 15 operating from our expanded Somerset facility.
Our customers include major aerospace primes such as Boeing, Leonardo, and Martin-Baker, and we were proud finalists in the 2024 MOD Quality Awards.
